iPad and iPhone

Here I designed Font Kingdom layouts for the iPad and iPhone. Visual artists can learn a lot not only from storytellers, including playwrights and filmmakers, but also from painters, poets, choreographers and musicians. Take music, for example. A visual hierarchy includes large elements (crescendo) and elements that are small (diminuendo). In page layout some things change for variety (verse) and some things stay the same for stability (chorus). Background art (percussion) is a playground for visual elements that sit on top (melody) while colors go together (harmony) and empty space (silence) alternates with design elements (notes) to establish a pattern (rhythm). You get the idea. Immerse yourself in all the arts and your graphic design skills will soar! Copyright [c] Randall Cornish
